Antivirus 2012, cracked screens and new website

A number of computers were received with Antivirus 2012 installed. This software pretends to be an anti virus software and gives out false positives so you think you might have viruses. It slows your PC down and stops a lot of services from working.Look out for it, make sure you have computer security software up top date. Please get in touch if you have a problem.
Laptop Screens
If you have a crack in your laptop screen, like the one received last week, we can repair and fit a new screen within 3 days (or less).
Depending on the laptop it can cost less than a £100. This laptop was fixed within 24 hours of receiving it.

CDCC has designed a new website for Tan Lan Metalworks.
The new website features the work of Gerallt Evans, an artist blacksmith from Pandy Tudur.

Step 2 - Got to the Mikogo website and follow the instructions, you will download a small application that will run on your PC but not installed.
Step 3 - Once connected we'll work on getting your PC back up and running.

Computer repair phone scam
It is a scam that has bee around since 2008 but it's still happening in 2011.
My Dad had a phone call yesterday by a person with an Indian accent saying that there was a problem with his PC and that they needed him to connect the computer to the web so they could show him the problem and fix it for him.
Luckily for my father this was not the first time he's been contacted so he declined their service.
For those who haven't heard of the scam the caller asks you to follow their instruction and shows you that there is a problem with your PC. They show you "Errors" in your Event Viewer which are always there on everyone's PC's anyway.
They then get you to download a piece of software that lets the take over your PC to "fix" it. This will open your PC for them to steal your data and will charge you to get rid of the "errors". It has been reported that people have been charged £185.
If you receive one of these calls don't get scammed. Put the phone down and if your worried please phone us.

The Event Viewer shows any significant event that happens in your PC. They can be programme, security or system events.
Take a look at your Event Viewer
Start>Control Panel> Administrative Tools> Event Viewer>System
